FAITH: ALL SIDES

The subject of faith must interest you. Without a good grasp of it, a saint in Christ will be frustrated and continually feel inadequate. Never really knowing or appropriating the magnitude of what has been purchased for and to him.I have tried in this particular effort to highlight this all-seasoned subject from a basic concept to what may be considered a more complex interpretation especially at application. Like most principles of life, they become complicated usually when they are not clearly understood. The concept of faith is for right application. Never just for knowledge. Don’t learn to know, learn to do – always. Whenever we embrace this subject from the surface level, we soon begin to meet in applications situations that become more complex, specific, dynamic and elastic to the subject matter. It is expected that the reader will be sensitive in spirit to know the appropriate and relevant context and application.Although, the subject of faith was not heavily acknowledged in the 39 books of the Old Testament, a lot of credit was graciously and generously shared to several heroes of faith in the book of faith - Hebrews 11. It therefore means that God always acknowledged actions of faith whether they are obvious or not. Hebrews 11:6 says “Anything outside of faith does not please God…and that He goes ahead to reward those who seek Him diligently” Now we know that anything that must get God’s interest and attention must be hinged on faith. It must be something sponsored by someone willing to look or sound ‘silly’. Faith therefore is not for the one who wishes to always conform to the narratives of logic. This by itself puts a strain on those who must be blessed with the honors of walking with God. 2 Cor. 5:7. We must take our lives consciously and walk and work by faith. For it to be called faith, it must be something hoped for. Heb. 11:1a It must involve something that is not seen Heb. 11: 1b; and it comes by the hearing of the Word of God Rom. 10:17. So, we approach the subject of faith practically to provide a rich understanding of faith for everyday living, faith in God for worship and faith for things, healing and health.
